The Interior Ministry’s show jumping team secured top ranks at the Wellington International Show Jumping Championship, held in the United Kingdom from 21 to 25 May.
Throughout the championship, the team demonstrated high professionalism, competitiveness, and preparedness, owing to a well-structured training system. The team clinched first place twice, outperforming 187 riders from nine countries around the world.
The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, Major-General Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi, congratulated His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He affirmed that his unwavering support and insightful guidance drive the team’s ability to secure top rankings in international competitions.
He also praised the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan for his close follow-up, continuous support for the ministry’s sports teams, and his dedication to promoting athletic activities that elevate the Interior Ministry’s stature in international forums.
He commended the team's efforts in achieving this accomplishment and the riders' high spirit and determination throughout the competition, which reflected their firm resolve to continue earning honours and raising Bahrain’s name in international arenas.
