The Anti-Narcotics Directorate at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has, in separate cases, arrested several individuals, including a woman of various nationalities, in possession of more than 22 kilograms of different types of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, with an estimated street value of around BD267,000.
The Directorate explained that, upon receiving information regarding the cases, investigations were promptly launched, leading to the identification of the suspects and their subsequent arrest in possession of the seized narcotics and substances.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science confirmed that the seized items have been documented and that the necessary legal procedures were taken, with the cases referred to the Public Prosecution.
