The Child Protection in Cyberspace Unit at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has organised its first Digital Safety Training Course, with the participation of 69 personnel from various Interior Ministry directorates. The course aimed to raise awareness and enhance digital protection skills.
The training programme introduced participants to the roles and responsibilities of the unit, highlighted key risks in the digital space, and outlined preventive measures and methods for addressing potential threats, particularly those affecting children in the online environment.
This course is part of a series of specialised training sessions the unit plans to conduct, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of digital safety and strengthen the capacity of Ministry personnel in confronting the growing challenges of the online environment for children.
