Coast Guard carries out Joint Maritime Inspection Campaign

As part of ongoing security efforts to maintain order and enhance maritime safety, the Coast Guard has conducted a joint maritime inspection campaign in coordination with relevant security directorates and several government entities concerned.

The campaign aims to monitor and address violations related to maritime safety, ensure that vessels comply with captain and boat licensing requirements, follow up on the status of illegal foreign workers, and inspect private marine transport companies operating passenger services.

The campaign covered several key maritime areas, where inspection operations were carried out under detailed security plans. The efforts have led to the identification of various shared observations that are currently under discussion with relevant authorities, to improve procedures and raise awareness among seafarers. These efforts contribute to strengthening maritime safety and providing a secure environment for all.
