His Highness Southern Governor and Chairman of the Security Committee, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, chaired the committee’s sixth meeting of the year.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor, Colonel Hamad Mohammed Al Khayat, Deputy Director-General of the Southern Governorate Police, Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and several officers representing security directorates at the Ministry of Interior.
The Governor welcomed the officials and commended the teamwork and coordination among all directorates, which enhance security, safety, and partnership, under the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
HH reaffirmed the Southern Governorate's commitment to coordinating and cooperating with the National Civil Emergency Management Commitee. He commended the committee’s efforts in preparing shelter centres, ensuring rapid response, and raising awareness to protect the safety of citizens and residents. The Governor also reviewed the security preparations by the Southern Governorate Police Directorate for the month of Muharram.
At the meeting's conclusion, the attendees expressed gratitude to HH the Southern Governor for his continuous follow-up and dedicated efforts in advancing security coordination among relevant authorities and authorities.
