Northern Govenror Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, received in the weekly governorate Majlis, in the presence of Deputy Northern Governor, Brigadier Abdullah Muantar, several members of the Shura Council, representatives of the Ministry of Interior directorates, heads of committees for the Healthy Cities Programme, and a group of residents in the district.
During the meeting, the Northern Governor underscored the importance of fostering national unity and reinforcing community partnership and national belonging. He highlighted the Northern Governorate’s pivotal role in enhancing public engagement, building trust, and addressing citizens’ concerns to improve services and advance sustainable development.
He further commended the residents’ steadfast pride in their nation and unwavering support for the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister. He stressed that unity and national allegiance safeguard stability, urging responsibility and rejection of harmful rumours.
At the conclusion, the Northern Governor honoured a citizen for exemplary cooperation with the police, a testament to civic duty and commitment to the common good.
