The Interior Ministry has enforced precautionary measures as of this morning, as part of its proactive and preventive approach to safeguarding public safety and enhancing readiness for civil emergency management, in light of recent regional security developments.
In this regard, the Interior Ministry expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the public for their cooperation and understanding of the temporary measures, which aim to facilitate the execution of administrative or security tasks whenever required.
It further clarified that all ministries and government institutions continue to operate normally and are carrying out their functions as usual across all levels, in line with established plans to address developments and changes with the highest level of efficiency, thereby bolstering civil protection and public safety.
Awareness messages and guidance for various situations will be issued accordingly as circumstances evolve, through the National Civil Protection Platform, the official accounts of the Interior Ministry, and the “MyGov” application.
The Interior Ministry urged all citizens and residents to follow the instructions of official authorities and to ensure information is obtained from reliable sources, while refraining from spreading rumours.
