The Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, headed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation participating in the first meeting of the Joint Supreme Committee for the GCC Joint Security Tactical Exercise (Arabian Gulf Security 4), held in Qatar.
The meeting reviewed the agenda, which included an assessment of the outcomes and lessons learned from the previous exercise, with a focus on building upon the achievements made. The discussions also covered preparations, logistical arrangements, and committee plans for the upcoming exercise, as well as presenting current security challenges and threat scenarios, along with strategies for addressing them to strengthen joint cooperation, promote the exchange of expertise and experiences among the participating GCC member states, and contribute to the overall success of the exercise.
