The Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police stated that Public Order Forces were carrying out legal procedures in Diraz village in response to violations involving the obstruction of public roads through the unauthorised construction of roadside structures (Madaif).
A group of individuals attacked police personnel with stones and damaged both public and private property. Despite multiple warnings, the group didn’t comply.
The incident was handled by legal protocols, and the Public Prosecution has been notified. One person was injured during the incident and was taken to the hospital for treatment. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances of the case.
