The Capital Governor, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, visited several Community Centres (Mattams) in Manama, as part of the Ashoora season.
The Capital Governor commended the close attention and support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and his directives to all concerned entities to provide the necessary support and facilitation to ensure the season proceeds in a secure and orderly manner. He also praised the constructive cooperation and high level of coordination shown by the heads of Mattams with the relevant authorities.
He highlighted that the Capital Governorate had held a series of pre-coordination meetings with representatives from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, the Capital Municipality, the Jaafari Endowments Directorate, and Maattam leaders. These meetings aimed to discuss preparations and put in place the necessary plans to organise the Ashoora season effectively.
For their part, the heads and organisers of the Maattams expressed their sincere appreciation to the Capital Governorate and all relevant government bodies for their continuous efforts and effective communication, affirming that such support positively impacts the organisation of the season and contributes to the smooth and safe execution of its related events.
