Customs Affairs, in cooperation with the Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, organised a workshop titled “Customs Valuation” as part of the implementation of Administrative Objective (3.1.1) within the 2024–2027 Strategic Plan of the Customs Clearance Directorate, which focuses on enhancing capacity building and developing specialised competencies.
The workshop aimed to strengthen customs capabilities and enhance staff skills in customs valuation, in line with international best practices recommended by the World Customs Organisation (WCO), thereby contributing to improved efficiency and alignment of customs operations with global standards.
The workshop witnessed the participation of 21 employees from customs entry points across the Kingdom, as part of ongoing efforts to qualify specialised customs personnel in customs valuation, in support of performance enhancement and the achievement of institutional excellence in this vital field.
