Northern Governor toured community centres (Mattams)

In line with the Northern Governorate’s commitment to enhancing community partnerships for the Ashoora season, the Northern Governor, Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, toured community centres (Mattams) in the district to monitor the ongoing preparations for the Ashoora.
The Northern Governor met with the organisers of the Mattams, acknowledging their efforts to promote community awareness and ensure compliance with health and security regulations. He emphasised that such efforts reflect the spirit of cooperation and discipline in working to guarantee a safe and organised season.
He said that the Northern Governorate is committed to establishing the concept of "Healthy cities" through continuous coordination between official and community entities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for religious observances. He highlighted the importance of collaboration among preachers, organisers, and relevant authorities to ensure the success of the season.
