The Muharraq Governor Salman bin Hindi Al Mannai, expressed profound appreciation for the exemplary security contributions of the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate. He praised its pivotal role in fortifying public safety and delivering police services. These endeavours align with the Ministry of Interior’s integrated strategy, under the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
During a meeting of the Muharraq Governorate Majlis, held in the presence of Deputy Muharraq Governor Brigadier General Jassim Mohammed Al Ghattam, Muharraq Governorate Police Director General Brigadier Sultan Ahmed Juma Al Kaabi, and Chairman of the Muharraq Municipal Council Abdulaziz Ahmed Alnaar, alongside notable dignitaries and resident. Several officers, non-commissioned officers, and individuals from the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate were honoured for their exceptional contributions. Additionally, several Ministry of Education employees, school principals, volunteer teams for emergency shelters, and several entities supporting the governorate's programmes and activities were also recognised.
During the Majlis, the residents commended the leadership’s dedication to safeguarding Muharraq’s heritage and social cohesion. They urged the implementation of legal regulations on leasing old homes and apartments to mitigate perceived societal and security concerns.
The event concluded with a presentation by the Chairman of the Muharraq Municipal Council, highlighting the governorate’s key development initiatives, underscoring their role in advancing quality of life under Bahrain’s national vision.
