In line with the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Muharraq Governor, Brigadier Jassim bin Mohammed Al Ghatam, toured several community centres (Mattams) in the district. The tour aimed to assess service needs and ensure their implementation in coordination with relevant authorities.
During the visit, the Deputy Muharraq Governor emphasised the importance of ongoing oversight by Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa Bin Hindi Al Mannai in fostering a conducive environment for religious observances. He commended the effective collaboration between Mattam leaders and participating entities.
