The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) participated in the 39th meeting of the Directors-General of Passports in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Bahraini delegation was headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Dossairi. The meeting discussed several topics of mutual interest, primarily the follow-up on the implementation of decisions issued by Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Ministers of Interior, based on the outcomes and recommendations of previous meetings.
The agenda also included a review of the latest developments by the joint working group on the proposed unified GCC tourist visa. In addition, participants discussed several initiatives and proposals submitted by the delegations, aimed at strengthening coordination and cooperation in areas related to immigration and passport affairs across GCC states.
