As part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to strengthen its community partnership strategy and effective communication with various segments of society, the Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police, Brigadier Saleh Rashid Al Dossairi visited several Community Centres (Mattams) in the governorate to ensure the provision of all security and organisational services related to the Ashoora season.
He noted that the Directorate, as part of its integrated security plan, is committed to ensuring all public safety requirements, regulating traffic flow, and securing the surroundings of events to ensure the smooth flow of religious rituals.
