The Muharraq Governor, Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, expressed his deep gratitude for the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to provide services for Ashoora season. He also commended the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which enabled all ministries and government organisations to provide the necessary services and facilities that led to the season’s success.
This came during an inspection tour by the Muharraq Governor conducted to several Ashoora processions across the governorate, accompanied by the Deputy Governor and the Director-General of the Governorate Police. The visit included reviewing the efforts made by the relevant authorities to secure participants and ensure the success of the season.
The Governor praised the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in facilitating all matters related to the occasion to ensure it is observed in a secure and peaceful environment, with all necessary requirements provided to ensure the safety and security of everyone.
