In a remarkable sporting achievement that reflects the high readiness and consistent excellence of the Interior Ministry’s personnel on the international stage, the Interior Ministry Show Jumping Team secured top positions during its participation in the “Harthill Bolesworth GBR International Show Jumping Championship,” a CSI1* and CSI4* event held in the United Kingdom from 2 to 6 July.
The team delivered a professional performance and demonstrated competitiveness throughout the championship stages, claiming the top four places among 493 male and female riders representing 18 countries. This outstanding accomplishment is attributed to a comprehensive training system and a high level of physical and technical preparation, both of which are aimed at enhancing performance and readiness.
On this occasion, Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science and the team supervisor, Major-General Abdulaziz Mayouf Al-Rumaihi, extended his highest congratulations to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, affirming that this success is the result of his unlimited support and insightful guidance, which served as a key motivator in achieving these distinguished results.
He also praised the continuous support of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq AlHassan, and his commitment to supporting the ministry’s sports teams, thereby enhancing the ministry’s presence in regional and international arenas.
He further commended the team’s spirit and the high level of discipline shown by the riders throughout the competition, affirming that this achievement reflects their strong determination and unwavering resolve to continue raising Bahrain’s flag high across global platforms.
