The General Directorate of Media and Security Culture has launched the “Official Spokesperson” course, held from 13 to 24 July, with the participation of 24 officers from various directorates of the Ministry of Interior.
Delivered by a team of media professionals with extensive experience in police media and television training, the course focuses on both theoretical and practical aspects. It covers key topics such as media engagement skills, preparing for television interviews, using camera language, fielding live questions, enhancing effective communication, and managing crisis communication in both Arabic and English.
This course is part of a series of training programmes regularly implemented by the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture. It aligns with the directorate’s strategy to enhance the Ministry’s media performance and to qualify competent and well-prepared official spokespersons capable of addressing diverse media issues with flexibility and professionalism.
