As part of its commitment to fostering community partnership and supporting rehabilitative programmes, the Northern Governor Ali bin Abdulhussain Al Asfoor held a virtual meeting with inmates participating in the ninth edition of the “Biggest Winner” competition, organised by the Northern Governorate in collaboration with the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre and the medical team.
During the meeting, the Northern Governor affirmed that the initiative aims to promote public health among inmates and raise awareness about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles. He noted that the meeting was held to follow up on participant engagement and motivation ahead of the competition’s conclusion and the announcement of the winner, following its launch during the holy month of Ramadan.
