The Northern Governor Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, inaugurated the seventh edition of the summer programme for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, themed "Our Nation and Our King Unite Us." The event was held at the Future Equestrian School in Karana.
The Governor expressed gratitude to Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, for his generous support. He praised the partnership between the ministry and the Bahraini Autism Society, which has created a comprehensive programme, integrating educational, recreational, and therapeutic elements.
The Governor emphasised that the programme aims to enhance adaptive behaviour, develop communication skills, and reduce repetitive behaviours, demonstrating a commitment to providing quality support for children with autism. He also acknowledged the positive involvement of families and the active participation of parents, which strengthens the community's initiatives.
