The General Directorate of Media and Security Culture concluded the “Official Spokesperson” course, which was held from July 13 to 24, with the participation of 24 officers from various directorates of the Ministry of Interior. The course is part of the directorate’s ongoing training programmes aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and professionalism of security media operations.
The course was delivered by a select group of experienced media professionals specialising in security media and television training. It included both theoretical and practical modules covering a range of topics, such as media engagement skills, preparation for television interviews, camera techniques, field question handling, and the development of effective communication skills. It also focused on media crisis management in both Arabic and English.
This course is part of a series of periodic training programmes organised by the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture. It aligns with the directorate’s strategic plan to qualify official spokespersons who possess the competence and readiness to handle media issues with professionalism and adaptability, supporting the Ministry of Interior's overarching security communication mission.
