The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received the outgoing Ambassador of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Anne Jalando-on Louis. At the beginning of the meeting, the NPRA Undersecretary welcomed the Ambassador and praised the deep bilateral ties and friendly relations between the two countries. He also emphasised the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation and coordination in various fields of mutual interest.
The Undersecretary expressed his appreciation to the envoy for her diplomatic efforts during her service in Bahrain and her role in supporting constructive and fruitful cooperation between the NPRA and the Embassy of the Philippines. He wished her success in her future endeavours.
For her part, the Ambassador expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation for the support and cooperation extended to her by the NPRA, affirming her country’s keenness to continue advancing joint coordination between both sides in a manner that strengthens the strong ties between the two friendly nations.
