The Northern Governorate organised a drug awareness lecture in collaboration with the the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence.
The lecture aimed to educate participants, particularly youth and adolescents, about the dangers of drugs and their negative impacts on health, mental well-being, social stability, and security. It also focused on prevention strategies and raising awareness of individual and community responsibility regarding this issue.
The event included a screening of an awareness film that highlighted the most commonly circulated types of narcotic substances and the methods used to promote them. It also shed light on their destructive effects on individuals and society, all within an educational framework designed to reinforce positive behaviors and encourage prudent decision-making.
