As part of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Palestinian Minister of Interior Ziad Mahmoud Hab Al-Reeh, accompanied by the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, visited several Interior Ministry directorates, including the Royal Police Academy, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, and the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security.
During his visit to the Royal Police Academy, the Palestinian Interior Minister and his accompanying delegation watched a documentary highlighting the international achievements of the Ministry of Interior’s pace-sticking team. He was also briefed on the academic and training programmes offered by the academy, which aim to prepare and qualify security personnel according to the highest standards. The visit included a field tour of various academy facilities.
At the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, the delegation received a briefing on the directorate’s efforts in combating crime, narcotics, and human trafficking. They were also introduced to the latest technologies and systems used in criminal investigations, including digital forensics and evidence analysis, as well as areas of cooperation in training and expertise exchange.
The Palestinian Interior Minister concluded his visits with a tour of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security, where he was presented with an overview of efforts to combat corruption, promote integrity and transparency, and safeguard the national economy. The briefing also covered combating economic crimes, as well as the modern systems and technologies used to monitor and track suspicious digital activities and analyse electronic data.
