As part of efforts to maintain public order, combat crime, and enforce the law, the Anti-Human Trafficking and Public Morals Protection Directorate has arrested five Asians in two separate cases for selling alcoholic substances in various areas across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Directorate stated that upon receiving information regarding the incidents, investigations and search operations were carried out, leading to the identification and arrest of the suspects. Quantities of alcoholic substances were seized in their possession. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
The Criminal Media Division stressed the continued importance of community partnership in supporting security efforts to combat all unlawful practices. It urged the public to cooperate with the relevant security authorities by reporting any related information via the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science at 17718888, or the Main Operations Room at 999, with full confidentiality guaranteed.
