Under the guidance of His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the governorate has launched the "Maan (Together) for Security Awareness" exhibition to promote prevention and community engagement. The event was held in collaboration with the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science at the Askar Sports Complex. Several community members attended the exhibition, officials from various ministries of the Interior and the governorate, as part of the efforts to earn the Southern Governorate the title of a healthy city.
The exhibition featured a variety of interactive sections, including virtual reality experiences and electronic games designed to empower youth in addressing life challenges and enhancing their decision-making skills. The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation also set up an awareness section highlighting the dangers of narcotics. It introduced the "Recovery" programme, a key initiative of the National Anti-Drug Plan.
This exhibition is part of broader national efforts to raise awareness about drug risks and promote positive behaviour, particularly among youth, using innovative and engaging methods to reach different segments of society.
