As part of the Interior Ministry’s commitment to investing in the potential of youth and engaging them in activities that enrich their knowledge and values of belonging and community service, the Public Security Sports Association organised the 2025 summer programme for officers’ children, targeting the 6–12 age group.
On this occasion, the President of the Public Security Sports Association, Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayyat, praised the continuous support and interest of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in the events organised by the Association, and his keenness to provide all necessary forms of support to achieve the desired goals of protecting and guiding young people in the best interest of society. He also noted the close follow-up by the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, of all the Association’s activities and events, which contributes to enhancing its programmes and ensuring the success of the summer programme for officers’ children.
The summer programme for officers’ children includes a variety of activities such as awareness lectures, workshops, and field visits designed to familiarise participants with the role of state institutions and deepen their sense of responsibility through active participation in community programmes, alongside diverse recreational and educational activities.
