Northern Governor Hassan Al-Madani, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, following the World Health Organisation's designation of Northern as a "Healthy Governorate" under the Healthy Cities programme.
The Governor affirmed that this recognition reflects the wise vision and directives of the leadership. It is a result of their persistent commitment to advancing infrastructure, enhancing medical, educational, and social institutions, and establishing comprehensive public service centers.
The Northern Governor acknowledged the ongoing support from His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, whose instructions significantly contributed to this achievement and highlighted the collaborative efforts of government, private sectors, and civil society in achieving this milestone for the community.
