MOI

The Interior Ministry has announced the conclusion of the 2025 summer activity programme for officers’ children, aged 6 to 12, organised by the Public Security Sports Association.

The President of the association, Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayyat, praised the continued support and interest of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for the association’s activities, which aim to protect the younger generation and guide them towards serving the community. He also commended the close follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, for all association events, which contributes to improving programmes and ensuring the success of the summer activities.

He highlighted that the programme was designed to build participants’ confidence, develop their skills, and refine their cultural, social, and sports talents. It also sought to encourage positive use of free time. Participants were further encouraged to contribute to community initiatives through active involvement in social programmes.

The summer programme featured a variety of activities, including awareness lectures, workshops, and field visits to introduce participants to the role of various institutions. It also included recreational and educational events. The activities concluded with an honouring ceremony for the participants.
