Coast Guard holds awareness campaign with Bapco Energies to promote maritime safety

The Interior Ministry announced that as part of efforts to strengthen community partnership and promote maritime safety, the Coast Guard, in coordination with Bapco Energies, organised an awareness campaign at the Bahrain Fishermen’s Society in Muharraq.

The campaign introduced members of the society and boat owners to the ongoing 3D marine survey project in Bahrain’s territorial waters, while stressing the importance of adhering to maritime safety guidelines and complying with regulations related to designated survey zones to ensure the safety of seagoers.

The Coast Guard underlined that such initiatives are part of its ongoing awareness programmes aimed at reinforcing compliance with maritime laws, affirming that cooperation between government entities and the private sector reflects a joint commitment to serving the public interest and safeguarding lives and property.
