The Interior Ministry announced that the General Directorate of Guards has activated the appointment booking service for the Guards Training School through the Ministry’s “Mawaeid” application, aimed at regulating appointments and streamlining procedures for private security companies operating in Bahrain.
Services available through the app include booking appointments for fingerprinting security staff candidates, license-related services for applying, renewing, and amending company permits, as well as registering, renewing, or cancelling staff licences and scheduling training sessions. It also enables registering, renewing or cancelling guard sites, in addition to general follow-up on applications and enquiries related to the operations of private security firms.
The directorate explained that company managers, representatives, and employees can access the service through the app by logging in, selecting the required service, and choosing a suitable date and time.
The launch of this service reflects the ministry’s commitment to enhancing efficiency, simplifying procedures, and supporting digital transformation to improve service delivery for private security companies.
