The Interior Ministry stated that the Community Police Division at the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, in cooperation and coordination with the Inspection Directorate at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, conducted a joint inspection campaign targeting several commercial outlets across the governorate.
The campaign aimed to monitor the conditions of commercial establishments and ensure their compliance with public safety standards and requirements, thereby enhancing consumer protection and providing a secure commercial environment. The inspection included field visits and monitoring to verify adherence to the applicable legal procedures.
The directorate explained that such campaigns are part of the ongoing cooperation and integration between government entities, reinforcing public security and safety, out of the Interior Ministry’s strategy to consolidate the principle of community partnership and intensify field oversight.
