The Interior Ministry announced that, as part of its commitment to strengthening community partnership and promoting a culture of volunteerism among youth, the Coast Guard received a delegation from the Bahrain Voluntary Work Society, headed by a member of the Council of Representatives, MP Dr. Hassan bin Eid Bukhammas.
During the visit, participants were briefed on the Coast Guard’s responsibilities and its efforts in protecting territorial waters, combating smuggling and infiltration, as well as learning about maritime safety procedures. The programme also included a sea tour aboard the vessel Safra 1.
