The Interior Ministry announced that the Coast Guard conducted a joint exercise with Bahrain LNG, aimed at enhancing its response capabilities in dealing with various emergency scenarios.
The exercise included several components, featuring practical drills on emergency response mechanisms, the use of communication systems, and coordination with the company to ensure a rapid information flow.
The Coast Guard stated that such exercises are conducted under strategic plans designed to develop security and operational capabilities, ensure the effectiveness of procedures in countering potential threats, and contribute to protecting vital facilities while safeguarding lives and property.
It further explained that these exercises form part of a series of regular training programmes implemented in cooperation with national entities, reinforcing preparedness levels and supporting the maritime security system.
