The Interior Ministry affirmed that the National Ambulance Centre has taken all precautionary measures in preparation for the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, ensuring a smooth and safe return of students to classrooms, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
The centre explained that it has updated data on schools located near ambulance stations across the governorates, including numbers, locations, and peak times for student arrivals and departures, to prepare for any potential emergencies within or around educational institutions. It has also reviewed maps of main and secondary roads in school areas and developed plans to guarantee rapid response in urgent situations.
The centre has strengthened the readiness of its paramedic teams to respond to common cases that may occur in schools, such as minor injuries during play, fainting, or dehydration due to high temperatures, in addition to minor traffic accidents near schools.
The National Ambulance Centre stressed the important role of parents in guiding their children on the proper steps to take in case of feeling unwell or injured at school, including promptly informing a teacher. It praised the cooperation of educational institutions in providing primary healthcare for students and wished all pupils a successful academic year.
