The Northern Governor, Hassan bin Abdullah Al Madani, praised the Royal Decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, regarding the care, rehabilitation, and employment of persons with disabilities. He affirmed that the decree embodies His Majesty’s humanitarian approach in safeguarding rights and ensuring dignity, while reflecting the commitment to integrating persons with disabilities into the labour market to guarantee them a decent life and a better future.
This came during his reception of members of the Bahraini Catalysts Disabilities Association, where he expressed his appreciation for the continued cooperation between the Association and the Governorate, commending its qualitative initiatives that contribute to empowering persons with disabilities and enhancing their presence in society.
The Northern Governor stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships between official and civil entities to translate the Royal directives into a tangible reality. The Association members expressed gratitude and pride in the Governorate’s support, affirming its commitment to continue implementing programmes and projects aimed at serving persons with disabilities and meeting their needs.
