The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, commanded the high level of security and digital readiness demonstrated in the national cyber drill “Cyber Shield 2025,” organised by the National Cyber Security Centre under the theme “Supply Chain Attacks.”
The event was held in the presence of the National Security Advisor, the Royal Guard Commander, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He highlighted the achievement of the Ministry of Interior’s Information Security Team, which secured first place in the security sector during the exercise, earning wide recognition from participants and stakeholders.
The Chief expressed gratitude to Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation, Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, for this strategic and outstanding accomplishment of the Information Security Team, formed in March 2023. He emphasised that the victory reflects the team’s commitment to the highest standards of safety and reliability, in line with the latest global technologies, thereby enhancing Bahrain’s ability to address digital challenges.
