Bahrain delegation participates in UN anti-corruption meetings in Vienna

The Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, Colonel Ahmad Saad Al Rumaihi, led Bahrain’s delegation to a series of international meetings in Vienna.

The delegation took part in the resumed 16th session of the Implementation Review Group, the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Working Group on Asset Recovery, and the 14th session of the Government Experts Group on International Cooperation. The meetings brought together broad participation from representatives of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

Bahrain’s delegation reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting all international initiatives aimed at combating corruption, safeguarding public funds, and promoting the principles of transparency, integrity, and accountability, in line with its obligations under the UN Convention against Corruption and its efforts to strengthen bilateral and multilateral partnerships.
