The Capital Governor, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, received the Second Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, MP Ahmed Abdulwahed Qarata.
The meeting discussed several issues and needs of the residents of the Capital Governorate, as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation to translate citizens’ aspirations into tangible projects and services.
The Capital Governor affirmed the governorate’s commitment to following up on residents’ requirements and working to find solutions in coordination with relevant government bodies. He stressed that advancing development in the Capital on various levels positively reflects on citizens’ quality of life and aligns with national efforts to improve services and meet basic needs.
For his part, MP Ahmed Qarata praised the Governor’s follow-up and constant efforts to enhance and develop services for the benefit of residents, expressing his hope for further coordination between the Council of Representatives and the governorate to strengthen government services and meet the needs of citizens in the district.
