As part of its efforts to strengthen community partnership in maritime safety, the Coast Guard Command has organized an awareness campaign in coordination with Bapco Energies at Budaiya Fishermen’s Port.
The Coast Guard emphasized that this initiative is part of its ongoing awareness programmes, which aim to enhance compliance with maritime laws and regulations, and to promote constructive cooperation between authorities and the private sector, contributing to the protection of lives and property, as well as the preservation of the marine environment.
The campaign highlighted the importance of the ongoing 3D marine survey project being conducted in the northern waters of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing adherence to maritime safety guidelines. It also urged the public to refrain from any maritime activities within the designated survey area and to maintain safe speeds to ensure the safety of all sea farers.
