His Excellency Capital Governor Shaikh Khalid bin Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, emphasised that community security is an absolute priority, constituting the fundamental cornerstone of national progress and prosperity. He underscored its pivotal role in ensuring social peace, stability, and fostering a sense of reassurance among citizens, residents, and visitors.
This came during HE the Capital Governor’s meeting of the governorate's security committee, attended by several representatives of the Ministry of Interior's security directorates. The attendees reviewed the strategies to enhance security measures and protocols, reinforcing public safety. He also commended the security directorate’s unwavering dedication maintaining law and order.
He stressed the imperative of activating community partnerships by enhancing direct communication channels with residents, monitoring their security-related needs and to address the appropriate solutions for security concerns in coordination with the relevant security directorates. He also emphasised the integration of individuals and civil society organisations in designing preventative initiatives to establish a secure and stable community environment.
