Major Saud Buhaiji from the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture took part in an international conference on sustainable environmental engineering design for the benefit of society, held in the United Kingdom and organised by four prestigious universities.
In his paper presented at the conference, which revolved around sustainable verification of water consumption using drones in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He highlighted the potential of employing drone technology to reduce operational costs and enhance the efficiency of water resource management. In his presentation, he emphasised that these digital solutions represent an important step toward supporting digital transformation in the water sector, enhancing environmental sustainability and aligning with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. A host of inventors, researchers and experts attended the event.
