The Interior Ministry announced that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority, has added Good Conduct Certificate services to the MyGov application, available to the public through the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps.
The digital services package includes the request for issuing Good Conduct Certificates for citizens and residents, certificate requests for non-Bahrainis from outside the Kingdom, request status enquiries, and certificate validity verification for institutions, in addition to displaying general information about the service.
The directorate invited beneficiaries of Good Conduct services, including students and employees, to utilise the services available on the MyGov app and submit their requests electronically in a simplified and user-friendly manner. It also stressed the importance of applicants using the upgraded eKey 2.0, available at bahrain.bh/apps.
It further called on GCC citizens and expatriates who have previously resided in Bahrain for six consecutive months or more, and who held a valid ID card number and registered fingerprint with the Interior Ministry during their stay, to submit their applications through the MyGov application to issue their certificates electronically via the service designed for foreigners outside the Kingdom.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science affirmed that adding this services package to the application comes within the framework of joint cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority, in line with the government’s direction to integrate digital platforms and enhance the MyGov application with more priority services for users. It also commended the Authority’s efforts in advancing digital transformation and upgrading government services to improve performance efficiency.
It is worth noting that users can access Good Conduct services by downloading the MyGov application available on the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps or through the national portal bahrain.bh. The application currently offers more than 80 features and government services.
