The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, received the Capital Governor, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, on Tuesday.
The Chief welcomed the Capital Governor, congratulating him on the Royal trust and wishing him success in fulfilling his national responsibilities in serving the nation.
He affirmed that under the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Ministry continues to support the programmes and initiatives carried out by the governorate. He noted that such efforts contribute to the success of community partnership initiatives within the framework of protecting society. He also highlighted the level of coordination and cooperation between the Capital Governorate and security directorates in maintaining community security, meeting citizens’ needs, and enhancing communication with them in support of the nation’s welfare, security and stability.
For his part, the Capital Governor expressed appreciation to the Chief, praising the distinguished role of the Interior Ministry’s security directorates in enhancing security and stability and providing police services that reflect the ministry’s commitment to community partnership within its comprehensive approach.
