The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, received the Director General of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Lt-General Tabassum Habib, and his accompanying delegation.
At the outset, the Chief welcomed the delegation, expressing appreciation for the historical and distinguished relations between the two countries, marked by fruitful cooperation in various areas of common interest, particularly in the security field.
The meeting reviewed aspects of cooperation and coordination in the security and training fields, as well as the exchange of expertise, contributing to enhanced security capabilities and supporting joint efforts between the two sides.
The Chief asserted the important of building on the outcomes of the visit by His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to Pakistan, and valued the visit of the Pakistani delegation
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Pakistani official expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome, affirming his country’s keenness to continue enhancing cooperation with Bahrain in a manner that serves shared interests and bolsters security and stability.
