The Capital Governor Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa received attendees of the Capital Governorate’s weekly Majlis, including dignitaries, community figures, members of the legislative authority, and citizens.
The meeting provided an opportunity to renew direct communication with the public and listen to their views and observations, in line with the governorate’s approach of enhancing community partnership and improving services provided to citizens and residents.
Guests of the Majlis praised the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa during his recent meeting with the governors, in which he stressed the importance of strengthening communication with citizens and supporting youth through programmes and activities that promote national values and reinforce community identity. They also highlighted the importance of utilising religious and social occasions to promote awareness and consolidate the principles of community security.
Attendees further commended the governorate’s efforts in following up on the needs of residents across various areas of the Capital Governorate, through submitting development recommendations to the relevant government entities and monitoring their implementation. They expressed appreciation for the Capital Governor’s keenness to visit local Majlises and maintain a constant presence among citizens, reflecting his commitment to strengthening direct communication and fostering cooperation to serve the community.
