The Capital Governor, Shaikh Khalid bin Humoud Al Khalifa, chaired the Capital Governorate Security Committee meeting in the presence of the Director-General of the Capital Governorate Police, Brigadier Isa Hassan Al Qattan, along with several officials from the Governorate and representatives of the Interior Ministry security directorates. The meeting reviewed ways to enhance security plans and measures within the Governorate to reinforce public safety and community security.
The Capital Governor underlined the Governorate’s role in supporting community security as a key factor in preserving social peace, achieving stability, and fostering reassurance among citizens, residents, and visitors. He stressed the importance of strengthening community partnership through activating direct communication channels with residents, monitoring their observations and security-related needs, and working with specialised security directorates to provide appropriate solutions.
He also praised the ongoing efforts of the various security directorates in maintaining order and enforcing the law.
