HH Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa led the tenth security committee meeting for 2025. The Deputy Governor Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayat and other security officials attended.
HH the Southern Governor praised the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, emphasiang the significance of community engagement and the role of security directorates in ensuring safety. He stressed the committee's commitment to addressing residents' security needs through cooperation with relevant directorates.
The meeting included a review of recent security campaign by the General Directorate of Civil Defence, with a focus on enhancing security awareness. HE the Southern Governor also discussed the General Directorate of Traffic’s efforts to promote road safety through patrols deployment and awareness initiatives.
The meeting included a presentation that highlighted key security-related proposals and complaints from residents received via the "Tawasul" programme.
