Northern Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani participated in a celebration organised by the Abdulrahman Kanoo center for Parental Care in collaboration with the Yousef bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, in honour of the International Day of Older Persons. The event was attended by Deputy Northern Governor Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter along with other officials from the governorate.
The Northern Governor praised their efforts in organising this humanitarian and social event, which reflects the great appreciation and respect for the elderly. He emphasised that caring for and addressing the needs of older citizens is a national and humanitarian priority that embodies the genuine values of the Bahraini community.
He asserted that the Northern Governorate places significant importance on this demographic by supporting programmes and activities organised by clubs, care homes, and social centres. This support contributes to enhancing the social, health, and psychological services provided to them, while also allowing for their active participation in the community and benefiting from their experiences.
